It stars Rachel Leigh Cook, Damon Wayans Jr., Hether Graham, Kandyse McClure, Red Rees, Alwyn Sanders. I watched the movie on Netflix with Aditi on 2nd Oct 2020.
Rachel runs a law firm in Seattle, mostly doing pro bono work, helping the needy. One day a man walks into her office wanting to retain her services to sue online dating website 'Love, guaranteed'.
Well, although he doesn't appear to be a victim, she takes the case to pay the bills. She starts with skepticism. Slowly she starts seeing man behind veneer.
But can she prepare a case and win it against a team of corporate lawyers? What will they dig up? What puts her in a quandary? Does Love, guaranteed have a winning argument?
The end of movie is hardly a mystery. Audience remains interested to know what happens to the case. As it turns out, outcome of court case is not very dramatic and somewhat anti climactic.
Rachel acts ok, Damon is smart. Character of Roberto is semi hilarious.
It's a feel good movie. Not a must watch.
